Hello!
I'm Ash. I've been working as a private nanny for 8 years, and previously I worked as a summer caregiver with school age children for one year. It has been an extremely rewarding job providing in-home childcare to families around the state, but I'm looking to change up my career path with something just a bit different.
As a nanny, I often had multiple children in my care for 10-12 hours per day. During this time I had to juggle providing care as needed, making meals, as well as planning activities. I have learned skills such as solo time management, organizational systems, and I've also had plenty of experience working face to face with the public and other adults.
Working so closely with families has provided me with the ability to show compassion and handle conversations gracefully. I'm familiar with potty training, pacifier weaning, teething and sleep regressions and many other stages of raising little ones. I have taken CPR / First Aid in the past, but my certification does need to be updated.
