Hi parents! My name is Destiny, I’m 22 years old. I love music, dancing, reading, and cooking or baking when time permits. I love being outdoors, and love to workout.
I recently left a daycare after working there for almost three years. I worked in equal time with all the age groups the center has (3 months - 5 yrs. old). I was a certified preschool teacher for a few months before I left. I have babysat for a few of the parents I’ve worked for.
I graduated from Suffolk University last year, and completed work-study through Jumpstart. I have two more years of classroom experience with preschool age children due to this.
Even though I don’t have a car, I know the MBTA well as I’ve relied on it my whole life, especially the orange line.
As I’ve been in Mass. my whole live, I know of almost all of the free and adorable fun activities there are to plan fun outings around with kids.
I love libraries and reading. Jumpstart taught me a way of reading, as well as additional activities, that can make it fun while promoting early literacy.
I can speak/comprehend Spanish at an intermediate level, so naturally I have plenty of fun songs to sing in both English and Spanish.
