Profile I started babysitting when I was 13 years old. I regularly watched and traveled with a family with two boys under 4 for 2 years. I was fully involved in their day to day life. I assisted in teaching both children sign language as well as worked with the parents on what behaviors were to be reinforced and which not to be. I made 2 well balanced meals per day for the boys and myself (the mother took care of breakfast). As well as cleaned the house as time allotted. After I turned 16 I got my first job in customer service but I did continue to babysit my two nephews once a week up until the present time. I have a great love for children and a passion for helping the next generation to be prepared for what the world will give them and to show them the love and respect that they deserve. I always work very closely with the parents to ensure that I follow their parenting style and expectations. I am returning to childcare to gain experience needed for once I complete my degree and become an art and history teacher.
