I've babysat since age ten and nannied the last 4 and a half years for the same family. I've taken numerous child and family development classes at NVC. Unfortunately, the family I was with us moving and I can't go with them again. I love setting up crafts and teaching kiddos life skills such as laundry and cooking and of course cleaning as young as the age of 2. I often take a Montessori approach with young kids. I communicate and prompt them to be independent through trust that is earned and encourage them to try everything at least once and observe them to make sure the activity they are completing is done in a safe manner.
