I am a Professional Licensed Nurse by calling. I have active licensure and certification through the State of Tennessee. I became a nurse in 1996. I have worked Medical-Surgical for years before moving into the homehealth setting. I have been drawn to elderly and pediatrics every since my clinical rotation while in nursing school. I have been working in the home setting taking care of patients who have been exposed to work place hazzards at the nuclear facilities in Oak Ridge. Most of these patients have succumbed to their illnesses. I have seen enough of the suffering of this kind for it broken my spirit. When a nurse feels like she can’t help the patient, what more can she do. I have been doing this work for well over 14 years. I am ready to see to and be with young life. My young child will be graduating from high school this year. I have one in college, his third year and another son 37 years. I’ve raised 4 boys and am married 30 years in May. I am a natural lover of children. I am also Youth Choir Director as well as head of Sunshine Band and Red Circle Auxiliaries at Little Leaf Baptist in Oliver Springs Tn.
