As the primary caregiver for my nephew for most of his upbringing, I played a major role in the raising of him from ages 1-6. My mom helped as much as she could, while also wanting to maintain a thorough social calendar, so it fell on my dad to help with him. As soon as she walked out the door, however, it fell to me. I cooked, cleaned, kept up with his schedule, homework, and general learning and play activities. As much time as it took, I loved it and don't regret anything about it. It really solidified my love of working with, and taking care of, children. I also used to volunteer weekly at my church’s nursery back in high school. There I worked with children of all age brackets, ranging from infants to eight year olds.

After moving away from home and my family, I still regularly babysat for families in the surrounding area of my college. Then I moved to full-time nannying, and still do that currently on top of doing contract work for a local wedding photographer. (I used to nanny for her newborn until she was 8 months while being studio manager working in her home office every other day, so my multitasking skills go above and beyond). Overall, I have nannied consistently for four families altogether, with many babysitting jobs during and in between. I have a good sense of humor, can roll with the punches, and go above and beyond on every job I do.

I'm very pet friendly, and I don't mind light cleaning/tidying up and organizing, along with laundry and meal prep. I'm willing to make meals as well, but I will definitely need a provided recipe haha.
