I am a nanny and baby nurse with 10+ years of experience caring for infants, children, and adults in both hospital and home settings. Previously, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Pediatrics, Postpartum, and Oncology units at Providence Saint John's and Cedars Sinai. Most recently, I've transitioned to working primarily in home settings. Being a CNA has increased my knowledge of overall health, physical fitness, and patient care for all ages. Caring for others is rewarding and fulfilling which is why I continue to seek positions that will allow me to render the quality of care and compassion for which I am trained and gifted to provide.
I've cared for a wide range of children ranging in age from newborn to fourteen years old. Some of my previous duties included preparing meals, transporting kids to school, washing and folding clothes, making beds, playing games, reading books, and providing assistance when needed. Overall, I have an approachable and friendly personality which allows me to quickly and easily create bonds between me and the families that I work with.
In short, I'm an honest, trustworthy, energetic, and intelligent woman. As a nanny, I strongly encourage a child's creativity and physical and cognitive development with music, singing, physical activities, art & crafts, games, books, and toys. I'm deeply passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in. In addition, my passion for fitness and experience as a spin instructor also allows me to creatively engage children in physical activity.
