My name is Jordan, I am 24 years old and have several years of experience babysitting, over a year experience working at a daycare as an Infant and Toddler Teacher and almost a year of nannying. I am confident that my experience and skills, as well as my recommendations would make me a perfect fit for your child.
I started babysitting for family and friends of the family from the age of 15 years old, I helped my mom every now and then with her in-home daycare, at the age of 16 years old. When I moved here to Quantico, Virginia, I worked for the Merit School of Quantico, from February, 2019 to September, 2020. I worked in the infant room (6 weeks - 16 months) and toddler room (when needed), caring for up to 4 babies at a time. From December, 2020 to September, 2021 I worked for a wonderful family, caring for a 23 month old and 4 month old, but unfortunately ended due to the family moving for work. During that time, I did the usually nanny duties. Bottle feedings for the little one, breakfast, lunch and snack for the older one, diaper changes, naps, arts and crafts, keeping them on a routine schedule and also keeping the house tidy
My experience working with children from 6 weeks to elementary age along with some training courses, makes me confident that I would be an ideal fit for the position you have posted.
Being a childcare worker, I loved to keep myself creative and resourceful of the educational activities to help each child reach their milestones, such as sensory activities, tummy time, baby yoga, water play, and motor skills. As well as helping infants communicate at an earlier age with basic baby sign language.
