I have over five years of combined experience working with children of all ages! Most recently, I have worked as an Instructional Assistant in a Kindergarten classroom, where I was responsible for creating and implementing activities, classroom rolls, learning objectives, and age-appropriate lessons, as well as helping with snack, lunch, recess, and small group time. In addition, I spent a summer nannying two boys aged 1 and 5, during which time I aided in meal prep, household chores, play dates, playground visits and daily activities, as well as school pick up when applicable. I babysat children throughout middle school, high school, and college, including newborns and infants as well as older children, and I pride myself on the use of gentle redirection. My philosophy is that all children are unique and will grow and develop best with love and kindness, which is up to us to model for them.
