Chilis 2019 -2021
Chilis is a very family- friendly restaurant with great prices and delicious food. I played many roles in this restaurant and this is where i found most of my stepping stools. I learned how people value authenticity and quality. I effectively communicated to guests about food timing and what was good for what they were looking for. I also worked in many positions. I was QA, Togo, and a waitress. I was able to fill in for emergency purposes. Many times I took initiative when needed. I provided leadership skills to pass on to the next generation of Chili employees. I set a good example for my peers highlighting what was expected to succeed within the company.
Sonic 2017-2019
This Job was the most challenging for me . I was a carhop and to be honest, its similar to serving but the experience was created in a shorter amount of time. I had to create the experience from the moment the food came out to the moment its brought to the consumer. This built the foundation of my skills. I created long lasting friendships and worked great under pressure. Since this was fast food, It was required for food to come out correctly and as quick as possible. I was very dependable and was looked as a very dependable employee . I was always on time and set goals everyday to be better than i was yesterday.
Nanny 2016-2018
This was the first job I have ever had . I actually nannied for my mom’s friend. This was by far my favorite job as i could be myself. I didn’t have to change who i was. I realized in most of my jobs i definitely had to abide to corporate rules starting from how i look to how much I talked. I was able to talk as much as I wanted to and connect. I feel like I was able to really enjoy my time with her. What made it most enjoyable was that everyday was a new day. We always had something to do as she was so energetic. Sometimes we would watch Mickey Mouse together and other times we would play barbies. It really gave me an opportunity to truly look forward to my future for when I have kids of my own.
