Profile I’ve been taking care of children since I was a teenager. I’m the oldest of 4 children. I started my teaching career right after I graduated from college. I was the outstanding graduate for Modern Languages-French from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2004. I taught middle school French for 3 years, then moved to France and taught English as a second language to children ages 2-12. I was also an Au Pair for a French family and taught their little girl English as well. After teaching in France for 3 years, I moved back to New Orleans and helped open a French charter school at Audubon zoo where we taught French to kindergarteners. I also taught at Ecole Bilingue de La Nouvelle Orleans. During my time as a teacher I also cared for several family’s children during the summer time. Today I have an 8 year old little girl who means the world to me. I would like to start caring for children again, it brings me so much joy.
Bachelor’s degree in French. I was a teacher for 8 years.
