I took my first babysitting course when I was 12, and then I would babysit the neighborhood children. I worked at the after school YMCA program to help watch the children, and I have worked as a counselor in training at YMCA camps. Most of my friends have children so I have watched them, and I grew up with a large family on one side where it seemed there was always an infant around. My ex-husband has a son I raised from the age of 5 to 12. I am energetic, live a healthy lifestyle, and I am compassionate. It gives me great joy to watch children grow and succeed at new tasks. I love to laugh, but believe that there should be a balance between work and play.
I also love animals and believe that they are as much a family member as we are, therefore I don’t mind any furry companions.
