Hello! My name is Victoria and I'm looking for a nanny position where I can help children grow and flourish in a safe and loving environment. That may look like using our imaginations to create fun arts and crafts, help reach important milestones, or exploring the world around us! I also help with important life skills such as, hygiene, communication, community and kindness, emotional regulation, problem solving, responsibility, and self esteem- yes, even for infants and young toddlers too! I have experience with infants all the way through school age. Whether you need help with preparing healthy meals, cleaning up after little ones, or driving to fun classes, I will be there! I am also CPR/First Aid/AED Certified, fully vaccinated, a non-smoker, and have transportation.

Over the last 20 years, I have gained experience in the fields of education, social work, and childcare with infants through school age. I started off working with children when I was in high school, volunteering and babysitting then worked at a daycare throughout college. After college, I was a social worker helping families learn about development, parenting skills, creating loving and healthy relationships, and safety before transitioning my career to education. I received my bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from UIC and my masters in Educational Research & Evaluation from NIU. In my free time, I love to spend time crafting, being outdoors, and spending time with my big family. (I have 7 nieces and nephews and loads of cousins! ) My husband and I also have a teenager and a toddler who will be two at the end of August. She will be joining me every day and absolutely loves babies and to make new friends! She has frequently been around other children during family/friend gatherings, mommy’s babysitting duties, daycare, and extracurricular activities. We have lots of fun and educational plans for her and her new friend to learn and grow together! We have a dog and cat at home, so she is also very comfortable and happy around animals.
