I am the oldest of 4 daughters, so I've been helping raise my sisters from the age of 5. During high school, I babysat for a few families here and there and after graduating, I found a part time job watching children during church services for a local community in Rio Rico. I worked with a small group of about 6 children between the ages of 7 and 13. During that time, I also worked in an infant/toddler room at a daycare in Nogales briefly before moving up to Tucson. Once in Tucson, I began working in retail and it became very clear to me that childcare was my calling. I became a nanny and although I got the hang of it, I felt that I needed more experience in order to provide the best care possible. I began working at the Finley Childhood Development Center at the Davis Monthan Air Force Base where I received over 100 hours of training relating specifically to infants and toddlers. Now that I've gained more knowledge and experience, I am ready to go back to nannying/babysitting where I can build closer relationships with smaller groups of children and can plan more fun and exciting activities!
